The following is the information required for all ABBYY support where there is a query about the software itself.
- Your build number - open your version of the software, go to Help>About.
- Your license number - find it in your License manager.
- Ainfo log file
- Event viewer log files (Application and System)
Ainfo log file
To collect Ainfo diagnostic files please do the following:
- Run AINFO.exe file from the program installation folder: ABBYY FlexiCapture Servers\Support or ABBYY FlexiCapture Stations\Support
- Click "Save as"
- Send us AINFO.zip.
Event viewer
To collect the Windows Event Viewer log-file, please do the following:
- Reproduce the situation.
- Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer (or press Windows+R buttons, type eventvwr.exe, and press OK)
- Go to the Event Viewer window.
- Select Windows Logs.
- Right-click Application/System and select Save All Events as...
- Send us the *.evt file.
