ABBYY FlexiCapture support - required information gathering

The following is the information required for all ABBYY support where there is a query about the software itself.

  1. Your build number - open your version of the software, go to Help>About.
  2. Your license number - find it in your License manager.
  3. Ainfo log file
  4. Event viewer log files (Application and System)

Ainfo log file

To collect Ainfo diagnostic files please do the following:

  1. Run AINFO.exe file from the program installation folder: ABBYY FlexiCapture Servers\Support or ABBYY FlexiCapture Stations\Support
  2. Click "Save as"
  3. Send us AINFO.zip.


Event viewer

To collect the Windows Event Viewer log-file, please do the following:

  1.  Reproduce the situation.
  2. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer (or press Windows+R buttons, type eventvwr.exe, and press OK)
  3. Go to the Event Viewer window.
  4. Select Windows Logs.
  5. Right-click Application/System and select Save All Events as...
  6. Send us the *.evt file.
