Installing FlexiCapture Verification / Scanning station (generic guide)

You need to install the FlexiCapture client software on a new computer.

Resolution

You must make sure that you use the correct application version to match your own ABBYY FlexiCapture server. The latest downloads for FlexiCapture's on-premise server are available in our knowledgebase but your server might not use the latest release. Check an existing [working] Verification station version to be sure.

If we managed the server installation for you then you will normally find the ISO in d:\WfD\Installation.

1. Run Autorun.exe from the ISO
   
   
2. Choose option 1. Distributed Installation
   
   
   
3. Choose option 3. Install Workstations
   
   
   
4. This screenshot shows modifying an existing installation, you will be installing components so should not see this option.
   
   
   
5. We recommend choosing 'This feature will not be available.' on the top 'Stations' option...
   
   
   Then 'This feature will be installed on local hard drive.' for the Verification Station and, only if required for the user, the Scanning Station.
   
   
   
6. You will be asked for the location of your protection server, this is the name of your ABBYY server.
   
   
   
7. Follow the steps to complete installation.
