Unable to use FileDirector Email Services/ Save to local or OneDrive

Symptoms

Unable to send Documents as Email or Save to local folder. When clicking the save or send button nothing happens

Cause

FileDirector might be trying to convert the original format to PDF, if it fails to convert the document it might fail silently.

Resolution

Ensure FileDirector Component Services are installed.

Installation files will be available in the server. If you go to Options -> Connection, you can see the server name. In the below case the install files were in \\metglfdsql\FdSetups\Component.

Use steps in here to install the Component services and test its functionality.
